Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnosis and Treatment: Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues, including routine cleanings, extractions, and restorative procedures.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Utilize X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Treatment and Care: Provide dental treatments to patients, including teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
  • Medication Administration: Administer local anesthesia to patients as needed and prescribe antibiotics and pain medications as required.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and advise them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
  • Screenings and Prevention: Perform oral cancer screenings and ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
  • Customized Solutions: Take impressions of patients' mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.
Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of a dental nursing program or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental setting.
