Job Title: Relationship Manager & Financial Analyst

Waystone Governance Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Relationship Manager & Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in proactively managing and supporting our clients and funds from a commercial and governance perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Launch and ongoing management of client relationships and ongoing governance of funds with Investment Managers, distributors, and across the different service providers.
  • Identification and management of the relationship to ensure they remain operationally efficient and financially profitable.
  • Ensure current knowledge of regulations and updates as and when they are circulated by reading and implementing processes to adhere to changing regulations.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis of fund performance, including returns, risk metrics, and market trends.
  • Analyse distribution channels and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare research reports for management and clients upon request.
  • Comply with the professional code of ethics.
  • Comply with the standard disclaimer and disclosure principles.
  • Assist in the development and execution of fund distribution strategies to optimise asset raising and meet client needs.
  • Support the investment management team in evaluating potential investment opportunities and conducting due diligence.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and compliance, to support fund distribution initiatives.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Carry out economic and financial research, studies, and analyses on behalf of clients and/or publish them to the public through any means of publication and communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Risk Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or professional certification.
  • 3 years' experience in financial analysis, fund distribution, investment management, or a related area.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
SCA Qualifications Requirements (CISI):
  • The qualifications below must be obtained to be approved by the SCA as the Financial Analyst.
  • Exams Required for SCA Licence:
    • UAE Financial Rules and Regulations
    • International Certificate in Wealth and Investment Management (Level 3)
  • Continuous Professional Development:
    • Derivatives
    • Risk in Financial Services
