Talent Pal is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations within the Consulting Business Unit across the Middle East region. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective financial management and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all financial aspects, ensuring accurate and timely monthly reporting while optimizing financial performance.
  • Oversee project accounting, including monthly reviews, analysis, and accounting judgments in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial reporting requirements, including segmented reviews and consolidation for service lines.
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, including Senior Accountants and project accountants.
  • Report on financial performance to senior management, including variance analysis and accounts receivable management.
  • Direct the finance team’s recruitment, development, performance management, and objective setting.
  • Collaborate with Operations and act as a liaison between various departments, including Legal, Tax, and Treasury.
  • Engage with commercial and project teams to analyze margins and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
  • Own the annual budget and rolling forecasts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with senior management inputs.
  • Oversee customer billing processes to ensure compliance with contractual terms.
  • Drive improvements in working capital and cash collection in partnership with operational management.
  • Maintain a robust control environment by adhering to Group policies and procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share best practices across the organization.
  • Engage with auditors to facilitate successful completion of audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Professional finance qualification is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 10-15 years of relevant finance experience.
  • Strong background in accounting and business partnering.
  • Proven track record in team leadership and development.
  • Excellent IT and systems knowledge.
  • Sound understanding of financial methodologies in the energy services sector.
  • Ability to build effective cross-cultural relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholder groups.
