Key Responsibilities- Regulatory Support: Assist departments in the implementation of mandated fire and life safety regulations.
- Field Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of newly constructed buildings and evaluate the conditions of existing structures.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports that clearly communicate safety issues and propose practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Safety Studies: Engage in safety assessments, including fire tests, incident investigations, compliance reviews, and insurance evaluations, to assess risks and their potential impacts.
- Standard Development: Create and review corporate safety standards, guidelines, and procedures to ensure safe building operations, formalizing them into documented practices as needed.
- Design Review: Analyze designs for new constructions, modifications, or changes in occupancy to ensure compliance with ICC, company, and industry safety standards such as NFPA, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, and UL.
