National Petroleum Construction Company Limited is seeking a highly skilled Structural Drafting Specialist to join its engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed engineering drawings and ensuring all works are performed as per job specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, including shop and fabrication drawings, cut lists, nesting plans, and input for control sheets, under the supervision of senior colleagues.
- Ensure all works are performed as per job specifications, guidelines, company procedures, and advice from senior team members.
- Undertake back-drafting of drawings to reflect corrections that need to be made to initial documentation and revise drawings incorporating subsequent modifications.
- Assist in the production of "as built" drawings following receipt of marked up drawings from the project team.
- Conduct engineering site surveys under the guidance of senior team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a Higher National Certificate or equivalent, along with an ITI Certificate in Drafting (NCVT), and have at least 4 years of drafting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in the oil and gas sector.
