Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Controls Manager with a proven track record in robust cost and schedule management to take on a high-value portfolio of projects. You will manage the Process engineering and design team, ensuring all deliverables conform to applicable engineering codes and standards.

Your responsibilities include:

  • To manage the Process engineering and design team.
  • To have single-point responsibility for all process engineering deliverables and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client's policies and procedures.
  • To ensure that the overall project is delivered to meet the asset operational needs.
  • To provide direction and guidance on all technical queries relating to process engineering.
  • To participate in all project safety and design reviews as necessary.
  • To ensure that all work is completed without compromise to quality and is delivered according to the project schedule.
  • To liaise with the Client's Engineering, Operations and Maintenance staff as required to ensure a consistent approach to project completion.
  • To promote safe behaviour at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor Degree in Safety, Industrial Engineering, or any related engineering fields is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 15 years in HSE management and technical safety engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years proven capability as a Lead Engineer in an engineering design company is necessary.
  • Experience working in onshore upstream EPC projects is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with typical software packages used for process engineering design and selection is desirable.

People Management

You will be responsible for managing succession planning for direct reports, providing coaching and mentoring, actively supporting recruitment and development, and ensuring support and performance expectations for direct reports.
