Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering civil and structural design calculations and drawings within stipulated timeframes. This role requires collaboration with a team of engineers and designers to optimize layouts and general arrangements of structures, vendor drawings, and foundation loads while resolving interference issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the engineering team to deliver civil and structural design calculations and drawings.
  • Possess good analytical knowledge of various conditions including In-place, Preservice, Spectral Fatigue, Seismic, Pushover, and Jacket Mating for fixed platform structures.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to engineers on secondary/miscellaneous calculations and designers on detailing and drawing.
  • Prepare specifications for design basis reports and soil investigations in line with project requirements.
  • Engage in cross-functional teamwork to resolve technical issues and prioritize engineering activities to meet project schedules.
  • Review geotechnical reports and interpret soil parameters for the analysis and design of shallow and pile foundations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in offshore structural engineering design.
  • Knowledge of industry software such as 3D Model Review Tools (SPR and Navis Works), MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
