Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join our team starting in August 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about Mathematics and eager to contribute to the academic success of our students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To deliver engaging and interactive Mathematics lessons to middle school students, following the curriculum and educational standards.
  • To develop and implement creative teaching strategies that inspire a love for Mathematics and foster critical thinking skills in students.
  • To collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • To ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
  • To differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • To foster a positive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
  • To participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.

Qualifications Required:

  • Teaching Credential/License
  • A Bachelor of Education degree or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Mathematics.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the middle school level preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
  • Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and hands-on Mathematics education.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
