Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sourcing: Conduct thorough assessments and analysis of business needs, supply markets, and commercial risks to inform procurement decisions.
- Supplier Management: Provide expert advice to stakeholders on identifying and determining their procurement requirements, negotiate and manage procurement contracts, and ensure timely reviews and renewals.
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory management to prevent stock shortages or excesses, analyze multiple quotes/bids, evaluate suppliers, and select the most valuable options.
- Procurement Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance value and reduce costs in the procurement process, monitor supplier performance to ensure contract deliverables meet quality standards.
- Reporting and Analytics: Prepare procurement status reports highlighting progress and challenges, supervise Procurement Officers' performance to ensure timely and effective procurement processes.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management with expertise in contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in business administration / Finance & Accounts / Supply Chain Management / Procurement and Logistics.
- Preferred: Professional CIPS qualification or equivalent.
- Familiarity with procurement ERP systems such as SAP.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes.
- Proficiency in sourcing and procurement strategies and techniques.
