Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of professionals responsible for managing Commercial Lines (CL) claims, including P&C, Marine, Liability, etc.
- Develop and implement effective MIS reporting systems to support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager & Head to enhance claims technology, customer experience, and data collection processes.
- Provide induction and ongoing training to ensure that all PL advisors/BDMs/team members have the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage PL claims.
- Built strong relationships with insurers to ensure seamless claim handling and resolution.
- Serve as a point of escalation for all distribution heads on matters related to CL claims.
- Take ownership of major and complex claims, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction of customers.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by tracking and updating complaints promptly.
- Support distribution teams in product innovation, risk assessment, and other areas where needed.
- Participate in corporate client meetings to discuss claims-related matters and provide technical expertise.
- Conduct gap analysis for corporate GI clients and prospects to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
