Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development
    • Prepare concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for wet infrastructure projects
    • Review, organize, and analyze collected data
    • Develop design briefs and Basis of Design technical notes
    • Carry out hydraulic modeling using recognized modeling software
    • Perform design calculations
    • Develop design reports
    • Develop and oversee design drawings
    • Develop specifications and bill of quantities
    • Develop cost estimates
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
    • Work in conjunction with peer engineers to overcome project design challenges
    • Liaise with other discipline teams and/or teams working remotely from other regions to facilitate completion of project tasks
    • Liaise with subconsultants and subcontractors to facilitate completion of project tasks
  • Client Services and Stakeholders Management
    • Organize and attend meetings with clients to collect data and discuss technical solutions and options
    • Attend meetings with stakeholders and follow up on NOCs for utility corridors
  • Other Duties
    • Perform other duties as required from time to time
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from a recognized university
  • 10 years of experience in master planning and design of large-scale wet infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of engineering software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, InfoWater, InfoSewer, WaterGems, SewerGems, InfoWorks ICM, InfoWorks WS
  • Professional accreditation (Chartership/PE or equivalent) from internationally recognized engineering institutions such as ICE, CIWEM, Engineer Australia, etc. or working towards it
