Network and Systems Specialist

Job Overview:
The Network and Systems Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the planning, installation, configuration, support, and documentation of information technology and network systems. This includes ensuring compatibility between the company's information technology infrastructure and its applications, developing policies and procedures for the IT infrastructure, and proposing and approving requests for upgrades and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of IT services, from development to operation and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the IT infrastructure.
- Implement programs aimed at minimizing network downtime and plan for network expansion.
- Monitor network performance and potential problems.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology or Computer Engineering, is required. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field is also necessary. Understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, data centers, facilities, and related equipment, is essential. Familiarity with the latest IT infrastructure trends, tools, and practices is also required.
