Job Description:

The Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Lead will be responsible for managing product compliance related to local Environmental Law, monitoring developments and government rules/legislations related to environment and safety, understanding basic Environmental Engineering, and checking the status of Samsung products.

Main Accountabilities:

  1. Manage product compliance related to local Environmental Law.
  2. Monitor developments and government rules/legislations related to environment and safety.
  3. Understand basic Environmental Engineering and check the status of Samsung products.
  4. Liaise with HQ CS Environment team to make required changes in product/packaging to avoid any legal issues.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in handling environmental issues/customer service with a reputed company.
  • Graduate Engineer/Diploma in Environmental Engineering.
  • Ability to perform and work under different conditions and be a team player.
  • Existing experience in GCC.
  • Good networking with the local industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple partners.
  • Self-starter able to work under minimum supervision.
