Position Summary:
This Cross-Sectional Imaging Professional position involves working with magnetic resonance imaging equipment to create detailed images of patients' bodies. As a member of the healthcare team, you will collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

  • Main Job Responsibilities:
  • Conducts MRI studies according to established protocols.
  • Operates MRI equipment to capture high-quality images.
  • Interviews patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
  • Evaluates patient safety and takes necessary precautions to prevent harm.
  • Trains colleagues in MRI procedures and ensures their proficiency.
  • Serves as a backup supervisor in the absence of the supervising technologist.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:
    A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Certifications:
    A Radiologic Technologist Certificate and a Certified Radiologic Technologist - Venipuncture Certificate are required within six months of hire.
  • Experience:
    At least two years of continuous experience as an MRI Technologist and proficiency in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II are essential.
  • Licenses:
    A Basic Life Support certification is also required.
