The Community Engagement Coordinator will be the first point of contact within the school, maintaining a professional first impression and exceptional customer service throughout the end-to-end customer journey. This includes managing the school's front desk, responding to queries, and providing support to all stakeholders.
">Communications">This role involves developing and distributing communication with parents on all aspects of the school, keeping them informed of key updates, events, notifications, and school developments. The Community Engagement Coordinator will also lead on written and visual content for internal communications, collaborating with the Marketing Manager to ensure alignment with external school marketing and branding.
">Partnership Opportunities">The Community Engagement Coordinator will oversee partnerships with elected Parent Representatives and all official parent links to school life, driving opportunities for parents to be involved in community engagement. They will also act as a link between the school and external entities, providing student development opportunities via new partnerships, guest speakers, educational trips, and links with industry.
">Community Events">This role involves collaborating with the Vice Principal of Student Development to drive the coordination and execution of all community events, initiatives, and workshops. The Community Engagement Coordinator will liaise with parents to develop ideas for community events and work in partnership with them to plan and deliver events and initiatives.
">Parent Feedback, Complaint Resolution, and Retention">The Community Engagement Coordinator will maintain open lines of communication with existing parents to ensure their concerns, complaints, and feedback are handled effectively, efficiently, and in a timely manner. They will also collaborate with the Head of School Administration on the development and implementation of retention strategies to maintain budgeted enrolment numbers.
">Coordination and Delivery of Schools Unique Offerings">The Community Engagement Coordinator will support SLT with coordination of before and after school BELA (Bloom Enrichment Learning Activities) programme, school trips, journeys, and residentials. They will also support SLT with coordination of monthly LAP (Learning Achievement Passport) meetings between students, teachers, and parents.
">Third-Party Providers">This role involves being the first point of contact with third-party providers, overseeing provision and quality assurance of all externally provided services. The Community Engagement Coordinator will collaborate with MSO to ensure all third-party providers are compliant with regards to staffing, documentation, and health and safety practices.
">Requirements
">- Minimum Bachelor's degree.">
- Minimum two years experience working in a similar role, ideally in a school setting or customer service driven environment.">
- Ability to manage all aspects of role with absolute confidentiality and with student safety and safeguarding at the core of all functions.">
- Exceptional customer service skills.">
- Fluent communication skills (written and spoken) in English; additional languages would be an added advantage.">
