About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Public Health and Fire Protection Engineer to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the technical development and production of Public Health and Fire Protection designs in accordance with local, regional, and international code requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Public Health and Fire Protection designs from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international code requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality designs and solutions.
- Collaborate with clients, local authorities, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Undertake detailed Public Health and Fire Protection compliance reviews based on local and international standards.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in Public Health and Fire Protection design software, including Hevacomp, H2X, HASS, Elite, Autodesk Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other relevant tools.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Public Health and Fire Protection engineering, preferably in the Middle East.
- Preferred education: BSc/BEng in Building Services Engineering or related field.
- Preferred qualification: IEng or working towards CEng.
- Strong technical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to adjust and cope in different environments with enthusiasm.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced user of Autodesk CAD, Revit, BIM 360, and Navisworks.
