Job Description

**Job Title:** Systems Test Analyst

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Test Analyst to join our team at Dubai Customs. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing system integration testing activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Execution of System Integration Testing: Assist team members in designing system integration testing activities for project deliverables based on defined and agreed criteria that are appropriate to the deliverable and its intended use.

  2. Test Deliverables: Ensure that all deliverables meet the required functionality (module-wise) with respect to requirements.

  3. Test Plan Preparation: Assist the Associate Team Lead in the preparation of the Test Plan with respect to the module.

Operational Responsibilities:

  1. Knowledge Transfer: Transfer knowledge to new resources based on SIT documents.

  2. Test Case Estimation: Estimate test cases and automated scripts based on use cases for each module.

  3. Change Request Analysis: Analyze change requests and perform impact analysis.

  4. Test Execution Timeline Estimation: Estimate the test execution timeline with respect to module-wise.

  5. Test Plan Coordination: Coordinate with the Test Lead for the creation of the Test Plan to meet the agreed timeline and criteria.

  6. Task Allocation: Allocate tasks to team members with respect to the criticality of functionalities.

  7. Automated Test Script Creation: Guide senior software engineers and test engineers in creating automated test scripts, test-related outputs, test cases, test data, etc.

  8. Test Case Review: Review test cases and automated test scripts prepared by senior software engineers and test engineers to ensure deliverables are matched with functionalities.

  9. Traceability Matrix Establishment: Establish a traceability matrix to ensure all functionalities are covered by test cases and automated test scripts.

  10. Defect Review and Assignment: Review defects identified by team members and assign them to the respective developers.

  11. Critical Functionality Testing: Execute critical functionality test cases and ensure they meet requirements.

  12. Technical Support: Provide technical support for the testing team and be wholly involved in creating any testing-related output, i.e., test data, test cases, test scripts.

  13. Status Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly status reports and send them to the Test Lead for approval.
