Parsons Oman Job Requirements:

This role is ideal for candidates who have extensive experience in designing and constructing irrigation systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and direct the performance of the construction team.
  2. Manage quality control, financial control, and site operations.
  3. Act as the point of contact for Contractors.
  4. Review progress against accepted construction schedule and provide feedback to the Contractor.
  5. Issue authorized instructions to the Contractor.
  6. Propose solutions to specified construction/design issues.
  7. Provide claims analysis support, including dispute resolution.
  8. Participate in contract close-out activities.
  9. Coordinate with all concerned parties on construction and design issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Civil / Agriculture Engineering (emphasis in Landscape Irrigation / Horticulture).
  • Minimum 10 years experience in design, construction, and supervision of Landscape and irrigation projects.
  • Full knowledge of existing infrastructure Networks in the Emirates of Dubai.
  • Knowledge and work experience in pipelines, connection Chambers, and Pumping Station works, non-disruptive road crossings required.
  • Experience in dealing with emergency works and ability to deal with Public and coordinate with various infrastructure Authorities related to Projects.
  • Exceptional articulate communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience advising clients on best systems, materials, products, and sustainability for irrigation/water feature systems.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Primavera P3.
