Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Credit Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing credit administration and operations support to our wholesale banking unit, commercial banking unit, and wealth management unit.
The role plays a vital part in establishing a prudent risk culture and processes within the bank and ensuring quality of risk analysis & monitoring on all credit and risk related matters.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of Facility Documents: Manage the preparation of facility letters, security, and facility documentation in line with approval terms and conditions.
- Documentation Review: Review customer executed facility and security documents in line with approval terms and conditions, credit policy, and Shariah guidelines.
- Risk Identification: Identify potential risks related to documentation and take appropriate measures to mitigate such risks.
- Facility Issuance: Ensure the issuance of the facility letters in line with approval terms, credit policies, and guidelines for C&IB and/or CMB and/or Wealth Management Customers.
- Security Documentation: Prepare/review of security and facility documents in line with approval terms and credit policies and guidelines.
- Document Execution: Ensure the facility, security, and support documents are properly executed, signatures of the signatories verified, and supported by resolution/POA.
- Rectification Follow-up: Review of customer executed facility and security documents in line with approval terms and conditions, credit policy, and Shariah guidelines, and follow up with the business units for any required rectification.
