Oxford Knight is a leading investment management firm seeking an experienced Quantitative Developer to join their systematic equities team.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in developing algorithmic trading systems, preferably in systematic equity markets. A strong background in KDB/Q and Python programming is essential, along with good knowledge of modern data science tools such as Jupyter, pandas, numpy, and sklearn.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing trading systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and timely execution, as well as collaborating with the senior PM and the team to implement an efficient backtester tool for both simulation and live trading.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related STEM field from a top-tier university is required. Experience with Slurm or similar parallel computing tools is also beneficial.
This is a high-impact role within a small, entrepreneurial team where you will develop systematic backtesting, visualization, analyzing, and trading platforms for global equity strategies.
