We are looking for an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our Energy and Construction team. The ideal candidate will have strong underwriting experience in Builders Risk for Energy Construction.

The successful candidate will have a college graduate degree in Engineering and extensive knowledge of Builders Risk property forms and Energy Construction manuscript wordings.

Your Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong underwriting experience in Builders Risk for Energy Construction.
  • College graduate with Engineering degree.
  • Underwriting experience (preferable Energy Property / CAR).
  • Extensive knowledge of Builders Risk property forms and Energy Construction manuscript wordings.
  • Strong relationships with brokerage partners.
  • Sound technical knowledge of Energy classes of business and industry trends and drivers.
  • Knowledge of the market, portfolio management, acquisition and distribution.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment making quick decisions.
  • Outcome focused, self-motivated, flexible, and enthusiastic.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
