Job Description

As an Estimation Engineer at NAFFCO GROUP, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our business by managing the estimation process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and Analyze Tender Documents: Carefully review tender documents to understand client requirements and ensure that our proposals meet their needs.
  • Coordinate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with the Sales and Export Departments to identify any discrepancies or clarifications needed to ensure a smooth estimation process.
  • Select and Evaluate Suppliers: Work with the Operations Director and Estimation Engineers to select suitable design, materials, brands, and equipment for our proposals.
  • Manage Supplier Relationships: Coordinate with suppliers to obtain RFI/RFQ responses and negotiate technical clarifications to ensure that our proposals meet client requirements.
  • Maintain Submittal Files: Ensure that all submittal files, including ISO certificates, licenses, authorizations, and database archives, are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Evaluate Supplier Proposals: Evaluate supplier sub-components proposals to recommend the most optimal solution for our clients.
  • Prepare Estimation Sheets and Proposals: Prepare detailed estimation sheets, commercial offers, technical specifications, drawings, compliance sheets, and other submittal documents to present to clients.
  • Re-strategize Pricing and Proposals: Re-strategize pricing and proposals for lost and re-tenders to ensure that we are competitive and meet client requirements.
  • Lead and Support Team Members: Handle team members' work during their absence and ensure that the team is equipped to handle their responsibilities.
  • Ensure Business Ethics: Ensure that all organizational management business ethics are followed and that our proposals and estimation processes are transparent and fair.
