Job Overview

Temenos Headquarters SA is seeking a highly skilled Regional Tax Expert to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in managing the company's regional tax obligations, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Indirect tax compliance, managing delivery of data to outsourced tax filing partners, and working with external corporate tax filing partners to ensure accurate preparation, filing, and reporting of regional tax returns.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Indirect Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely Indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions in the MEA region.
  2. Data Management: Manage the delivery of data to outsourced tax filing partners, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Cross-Border Transactions: Provide guidance on the tax implications of key business activities, including cross-border transactions and regional M&A activities.
  4. Regional Tax Planning: Support regional tax planning initiatives, identifying and assessing tax-saving opportunities aligned with Temenos's business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced tax qualifications or certifications preferred.
  • Strong experience in MEA tax compliance and advisory, ideally gained within a multinational company or professional services firm.
  • In-depth knowledge of MEA tax laws, transfer pricing, and other region-specific regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with finance, legal, and operations teams.
