About the Role:
This role will involve working on various mechanical engineering projects, supervising construction activities, and ensuring that all works are carried out safely and in accordance with quality standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing site supervision quality procedures, reviewing construction documents, and coordinating with clients and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee the implementation of project plans, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits, review quality procedures, and ensure compliance with contract documents.
- Client Interface: Communicate effectively with clients, respond to their queries, and provide technical reports as required.
- Contractor Interface: Coordinate with contractors, attend site meetings, and ensure that all statutory authority NOCs/permits/design approvals are available on site.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 0-2 years' experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to changing environments.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to make sound judgements.
- Able to work full time 5 days a week (40hrs/week).
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes 22 days' holiday, discretionary bonus scheme, gratuity scheme (or pension scheme for GCC Nationals), life and health insurance cover, and tailored training and mentoring schemes to advance your career.
