About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional HSE Manager to lead our health, safety, and environmental (HSE) operations in the UAE and KSA. As a key member of our team, you will promote our 24/7 Safety Culture, provide technical expertise to operational teams, support project planning, and build collaborative relationships with operational leaders.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in safety construction management, overseeing construction safety operations in a fast-paced construction market. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, customer, and company regulations, as well as developing and implementing complex EHS Planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Leadership: Lead training for general and project-specific use in areas such as safety requirements and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and safe performance of work tasks.
  • Safety Assessments: Conduct, facilitate, and review safety assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Incident Management: Ensure all processes are followed during construction site incident reviews, determine lessons learned, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Root-Cause Analysis: Work with project personnel and teams to perform root-cause analyses, evaluate information, and implement corrective solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Compile, analyze, and interpret statistical data related to occupational accidents and hazards.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Participate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in project-specific pre-planning processes.
  • EHS Planning: Develop and implement complex EHS Planning (PT, Confined Space, LOTO, etc.).
  • Team Management: Manage multiple direct reports and mentor Project Engineers and Interns in safety.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and provide development opportunities for direct report(s) and others with an interest in a safety position.
  • Field Visits: Visit projects and develop relationships with field teams.
  • Safety Efforts: Lead Safety efforts, including incident investigation, best practice sharing, safety video review, and safe employee reward and recognition programs.
  • Safety Champion Program: Facilitate the annual STRUCTURAL Safety Champion program.
  • Safety Planning: Work with project teams to identify safety challenges and collaboratively develop solutions.
  • Safety Plans: Work with project teams to draft written project-specific safety plans for client submission as required.
  • Process Improvement: Build synergy with other branches and help develop consistent processes/practices within the entire region.
  • Communication: Provide constructive, efficient, and effective elevation of safety challenges to Operational and Safety leadership.
  • PPE Selection:
  • Regulatory Compliance: Respond immediately to jobsite incidents and act as company representative with regulatory agency inspections.
  • Company Initiatives: Work with our corporate safety team to ensure company safety initiatives are implemented successfully.
  • HSE Reporting: Be responsible for overall HSE reporting and provide updates as prudent to overall company leadership.
