Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Network Operations Manager at Precision Hire Solution to oversee and manage the technical processes and operational integrity of our diverse network infrastructure. This role involves coordinating the activities of the Layer 2 Network Operations Team while ensuring that our products and services meet defined service level agreements (SLAs).

Reporting Structure:
In this position, you will report to the Senior Director of Platform Operations, maintaining and managing the Data Center Interconnect (DCI) and Data Center Network (DCN) networking stack, including setup, administration, monitoring, configuration, disaster recovery, and routine updates. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the operations and evolution of innovative cloud solutions within our organization, which is recognized as a leader in high-tech AI-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
  • Establish and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Layer 2 Network Operations team, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational strategic goals.
  • Oversee team performance, providing direction and guidance to achieve objectives.
  • Collaborate with department leadership to identify opportunities for team performance enhancement.
  • Offer constructive feedback to team members and contribute to performance evaluations.
  • Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential.

Operational Management:
  • Supervise the functionality of cloud network data platforms and technical offerings.
  • Work with the Network Engineering department to implement new infrastructure aimed at improving customer success.
  • Manage incident reporting and follow established procedures for escalating unresolved issues.

Process Monitoring:
  • Oversee change management, incident management, and problem management processes, focusing on response time, quality, productivity, and ticket resolution.
  • Collaborate with information security and operations teams to identify and address platform gaps.
  • Assist in identifying technology-related needs that drive automation within the team.
  • Utilize analytical skills to address critical issues in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with product owners to ensure systems are production-ready.
  • Contribute to budget preparation for the section.

Compliance and Governance:
  • Maintain awareness and adherence to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure team compliance with guidelines set by various divisions, including HR, legal, risk, and quality assurance.
  • Participate in periodic audits of established policies and procedures.

Reporting and Development:
  • Assist in developing periodic reports as requested by department leadership.
  • Recommend actions to address quality or compliance issues identified in reports.

Qualifications:
