We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Hydrogen and CCUS Expert to join our team at Asterix Communications. As a key member of our energy advisory team, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our Hydrogen and CCUS advisory business across the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Subject Matter Expertise: Provide in-depth knowledge and expertise on Hydrogen and CCUS projects, including technology assessment, economic analysis, policy development, and strategic planning.
  2. Project Execution Oversight: Ensure the successful delivery of advisory consulting Hydrogen and CCUS projects, upholding high advisory quality and brand standards.
  3. Business Development: Develop and enhance our Hydrogen and CCUS advisory services by creating go-to-market strategies and business development plans that align with our organization's mission and goals.
  4. Team Support: Support the energy advisory team in developing Hydrogen and CCUS techno-commercial proposals and resourcing.
  5. Business Growth: Lead and manage business development activities in the GCC region across the hydrogen value chain, including production, storage, distribution, and utilization, as well as carbon capture, storage, and utilization.
  6. Thought Leadership: Provide inputs and support for strategic market communications and actively engage in creating thought leadership on Hydrogen and CCUS technologies and solutions.
  7. Market Insights: Identify and monitor developments relevant to Hydrogen and CCUS value chains and develop strategic insights for the energy advisory team and leadership.
  8. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored advice on Hydrogen and CCUS technologies and solutions.
  9. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams, industry groups, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to promote the adoption of Hydrogen and CCUS technologies within the GCC region.
  10. Strategic Communications: Develop strategic thought leadership articles and white papers on Hydrogen to support advisory brand positioning in this market.
  11. Team Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with WSP advisory Consulting business leaders, global engineering and technology leads, and SMEs.
  12. Customer Service: Support and facilitate a culture of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  13. Capability Development: Develop Energy Advisory Services capability for Hydrogen and CCUS, including training and development of the energy advisory team, developing standard technical delivery frameworks, and supporting growth and development of project execution capability.
Measurable Growth
  1. Increase in winning proposals for Hydrogen and CCUS projects.
  2. Number of new client relationships established.
