Job Overview

This position is part of our Electrical Design team, responsible for creating detailed technical drawings for electrical and renewable energy projects using AutoCAD or MICRO station software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, as well as excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical/design managers, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

• Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layouts for electrical projects.
• Design solar PV systems, including panel layouts, string sizing, and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that drawings and designs meet project requirements and specifications.
• Maintain accurate and organized project documentation.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Industry-recognized advanced vocational or technical training from a reputable institution.
• A diploma or higher in electrical engineering would be an added advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of using AutoCAD and MICRO Station software.
