Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy across the Gulf, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities to expand our visibility and footprint in key sectors.
- Serve as a regional General Manager in support of all of Dow Jones's commercial activities across our portfolio, representing our brand, building relationships of trust, and driving informed decision-making among our partners.
- Scale Dow Jones's presence based on deep knowledge of the regional market, navigating complex business environments, and leveraging strategic partnerships to accelerate growth.
- Drive new business development while strengthening existing customer relationships with C-suite executives, key clients, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Navigate regulatory, legal, and cultural dynamics to ensure compliance and operational success, fostering seamless collaboration between marketing, operations, and finance teams.
Requirements for Success:
- 15 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion in the region.
- 5 years of management experience, with a strong leadership style that inspires and drives high-performing sales teams.
- Deep expertise in the region, with established relationships with key government figures and business leaders.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- A comfort with financial reporting and P&L management, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and hands-on approach to driving business results.
- The ability to adapt to fast-changing markets and navigate complex business environments, with experience working and leading in a matrixed organization.
