Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Highway/Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Parsons Oman. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of engineering duties, including highway horizontal and vertical design, road signing and marking design, intersection design, and participating in road safety audit exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop highway infrastructure projects, including horizontal and vertical design elements.
  2. Develop and implement road signing and marking designs to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
  3. Design and develop intersection designs to optimize traffic flow and safety.
  4. Participate in road safety audit exercises to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  5. Generate design drawings and reports to communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders.
  6. Participate in client meetings and internal meetings to discuss project progress and requirements.
  7. Follow up on NOCs and approvals to ensure project compliance.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  2. Basic knowledge of CAD software and Civil 3D.
  3. Good command of English (written and spoken).
  4. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Civil 3D advanced knowledge.
  2. Basic knowledge of Abu Dhabi Standards and design codes.
