Vector Corrosion Middle East Division is seeking a skilled Cathodic Protection Engineer/Technician to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for extending the service life of existing and new structures through the implementation of cathodic protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct condition assessments and investigations to identify areas of deterioration
  • Support in the design of cathodic protection systems, including calculations and drawings
  • Perform cathodic protection quality control testing and implement non-destructive testing techniques
  • Collect and analyze field data, preparing accurate reports and documentation
  • Develop professional reports on work performed and conclusions
Requirements:

Travel is a significant aspect of this role, with an estimated 60-80% of time spent traveling within the UAE and Middle East. A valid passport and certifications in cathodic protection (NACE CP 2, 3, and 4 or equivalent ICORR) are mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Materials, or Chemical Engineering is required, with the ability to review and interpret drawings in English and write technical reports.

Experience in structural analysis, condition assessment, concrete repair, and non-destructive testing is advantageous. Proficiency in AutoCAD and material testing is also desirable.
