Penspen is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join their team in Abu Dhabi and lead discipline performance on projects.
The successful candidate will possess a minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering with relevant discipline from a recognized university and 10 - 17 years of Oil & Gas Design Experience.
They will also have previous experience in the Region, minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Lead Engineer and minimum 2-3 years' experience in FEED projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical design leadership and design assurance on projects as required, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, FEED, detail design, procurement support, construction, testing and commissioning.
They must have a sound technical knowledge of wall thickness, buoyancy, buckling and pipe laying calculations, process design and preparation of PFDs and P&IDs, hydraulic analysis, line and equipment sizing, road crossing design, calculations and drawings.
Previous experience in hydraulic analysis, pipe support design, culvert design, pipe stressing, cathodic protection design, material selection, hot tap and stoppling (design and/or field) would be advantageous.
