About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior HSE Professional to join our team at Oil and Gas Job Search Ltd. As a key member of our HSE department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and the environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems for assigned projects or facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, including HAZOPs, JHA, and LOPA studies, to identify and mitigate potential hazards, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Review and approve engineering designs and procedures to ensure they meet HSE standards and regulations, and provide guidance to project teams.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulatory changes, and provide training and guidance to colleagues.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to other HSE professionals and line managers, and contribute to the development of HSE policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and investigations to identify and address non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience in HSE, with a minimum of 8 years in the Oil and Gas industry at a senior level.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSE management systems, and conducting risk assessments and audits.
- Strong technical knowledge of HSE standards and regulations, and ability to apply this knowledge in a practical context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and achieving objectives.
