About the Role:
Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer - Smart Metering to join our team. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of our smart metering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and Coordinate with Implementation Technicians: Oversee the work of our implementation technicians to ensure that they are following established implementation standards and quality procedures.
- Site Survey and Preparation: Conduct thorough site surveys to identify potential issues and prepare detailed site survey reports to inform our implementation plans.
- Project Implementation Planning: Develop and implement project implementation plans to ensure timely and successful deployment of our smart metering solutions.
- Quality Assurance and Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that implementation standards and quality procedures are being followed by our implementation technicians.
- Design and Implementation Leadership: Lead the implementation team to follow the design specifications for our smart metering solutions.
- Testing and Measurements: Conduct passive-DAS testing and measurements using site-master/PIM Analyzer to ensure that our solutions are functioning as expected.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed documentation and reports on the implementation progress, including site folder documentation and periodic reporting on daily and weekly implementation progress.
- Site Access and Coordination: Coordinate with site building management to ensure access and plan work schedules.
- System Integration and Commissioning: Integrate and commission various types of systems for our smart metering solutions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in smart metering and commissioning, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
