Accountabilities:
· Operations: Assess and receive client vehicles in accordance with manufacturer protocols and standards. Identify customer requirements and translate those needs into the Dealer Management System (Autoline) pre-order documentation. Engage with the customer to finalize the repair agreement and secure their signature on the order documentation.
· Repair Scope: Clarify the extent of repairs needed with the customer. Generate damage assessments and repair cost estimates using appropriate systems provided by the manufacturer, and discuss these with the customer or insurance representatives. Seek guidance from the line manager or senior service consultant for accurate diagnosis.
· Process Oversight: Diligently follow up and monitor the progress of each job order to adhere to established timelines, and check the status of parts orders on a daily basis. Verify the original customer complaint in the pre-order documentation against the job card labor operation numbers to ensure all agreed repairs are completed. Promote adherence to safety protocols defined for equipment, tools, and products.
· Handover & Delivery: Prepare the invoice, inform the customer of the final payment, and ready the vehicle for handover. Communicate the delivery timeline, clarify invoice details, and advise on any future repair or maintenance requirements. Contact the customer 2-3 days post-service for feedback on their experience.
· Reporting: Generate reports to assist in customer and management evaluations. Highlight technical issues or performance indicators such as the number of vehicles received, downtime, and repairs performed.
Job Specific Information:
· The Automotive Service Consultant will collaborate closely with customers, the department manager, and the service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and optimal use of workshop resources.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES
Qualification:
· Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
· Valid UAE Driving License.
Experience:
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer service and operations within an automotive workshop environment.
