Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team. As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting Internal Audits
    • Undertaking thorough audits to ensure our company meets its financial, operational, and compliance objectives.
  • Supporting Audit Development
    • Collaborating with the audit team to develop and implement audit plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Reporting and Recommendations
    • Providing detailed reports on audit findings and making recommendations to management to mitigate risk and add value.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identifying opportunities for process refinement and improvement across the company.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Professional Certifications
    • Chartered Accountant, CPA, CIA, or CISA certification.
  • Experience and Skills
    • At least 8 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a trading or commodities company or with a Big Four firm.
    • Fluency in Arabic and French is preferred.
  • Education
    • University degree in Accountancy.
