We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at IIQAFGROUP. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our cleaning services, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Train and Develop Staff**: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to housekeeping staff on cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • **Operational Oversight**: Supervise housekeeping staff on a daily basis, monitoring their work and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • **Quality Control**: Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas, including stairways and lounge areas, to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • **Scheduling and Staff Management**: Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence, ensuring that our housekeeping services are always fully staffed.
  • **Standards and Compliance**: Establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with our company's policies and procedures.
  • **Customer Service**: Respond to customer complaints and special requests, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that our guests have a positive experience.
  • **Inventory Management**: Monitor and replenish cleaning products stock, including floor cleaner, bleach, and rubber gloves, ensuring that our housekeeping staff have the necessary supplies to perform their duties.
  • **Special Projects**: Participate in large cleaning projects as required, working collaboratively with other departments to ensure their successful completion.
  • **Safety and Sanitation**: Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

**Requirements**

  • **Experience**: Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role, preferably in a large organization.
  • **Skills**: Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks, ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products, excellent organizational and team management skills.
  • **Physical Demands**: Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy equipment.
  • **Availability**: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • **Education**: High school diploma is a plus, but not required.
