Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in designing and developing automotive parts.

The ideal candidate will be able to coordinate with the product development team to finalize product ideas, check product installation feasibility, and prepare design of the product accordingly.

The role also involves creating 3D models based on scan data, converting images or sketches into 3D models, and defining product material of each kit component.

In addition, the candidate will need to create detailed 2D drawings as per automotive industry standards and customer requirements, prepare installation manuals, and justify design performance using CAD tools.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive interior and exterior parts engineering and installation, as well as knowledge of materials (plastics and metal) and its manufacturing processes.

Bonus skills include product DFMEA, automotive lighting harness and electronics product knowledge, 3D scanning technology, and 3D printing technology.
