Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and build advanced Android applications using the Android SDK, with a focus on creating high-quality, user-friendly, and engaging experiences.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs in the application, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability, to ensure that the application meets the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with a team to define, design, implement, and ship new features, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including team members, product managers, and customers, to ensure that requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in developing Android applications, with a strong understanding of the Android SDK and APIs.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Java or Kotlin programming languages, as well as experience with data sources, APIs, and web services.
  • Tools and Technologies: Experience with Android Studio, Eclipse, and other development tools, as well as a strong understanding of version control systems such as Git and Bitbucket.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cloud Experience: Experience with cloud message APIs, push notifications, memory and thread management.
  • Database Experience: Experience with databases, web services, and RESTful APIs.
  • UI/UX Experience: Strong understanding of UI/UX standards and principles, with experience in designing and building user-friendly interfaces.
