Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled BIM Project Manager to join our team. As a BIM Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies and processes across various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Conduct thorough quality checks on drawings to ensure adherence to industry standards, proper north arrows, legends, and cover sheets.
    • Validate the level of detail and controls as defined for each project phase.
  • BIM Data Management
    • Define and agree on data classification structures and parameters to enable scheduling and creation of information-rich components, assemblies, and systems.
    • Develop and maintain BIM object libraries throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Lead design review meetings, walking through models, creating saved views, and identifying potential conflicts.
    • Transfer modeling content between parties.
  • Quantity Take-Offs and Visualizations
    • Prepare quantity take-offs, visualizations, and schedules of quantities.
  • Constructability and Schedule Simulation
    • Support the development and coordination of constructability and schedule simulation models.
  • BIM Data Upload and Management
    • Upload native BIM files, IFCs, and XLS data to the BIM Data platform.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • At least 6+ years of experience in infrastructure projects using Civil 3D.
    • Experience in using Revit and AutoCAD.
    • Experience in coordination between different disciplines.
    • Experience in BIM Common Data Environments such as BIM 360 or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
    • Experience in preparing quantity take-offs using BIM tools.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Civil & Survey Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, or related curriculum (or equivalent).
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM and GIS engineering roles.
    • Proficiency in BIM software platforms such as Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk MAP, Bentley MicroStation, Infraworks.
    • Strong command of GIS software such as Esri ArcGIS, QGIS, Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit / Navisworks.
