As a Technical Underwriting Consultant at The Emerald Group, you will provide technical pricing support and guidance to customers and distributors under delegated authority.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate technical excellence in pricing large corporate healthcare schemes and skills in evaluating medical trends and key inflation drivers.
You will also have a deep understanding of private medical insurance benefits offered in the region and minimum benefits mandated by the regulators.
Your role involves providing technical pricing impacts for benefit changes and suggestions on enhancements/cost containment of benefits with related impacts to the clients and related functions.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Finance
- 8 or more years of experience in related field
- Other professional qualifications such as AFPC (Pensions), APMI, IMC
