Urea Granulation Expert

The Granulation Expert will be responsible for:

1. Initiating, proposing, and executing research and development projects.
2. Debottlenecking and revamping new product development programs to improve processes and introduce new products.
3. Leading in-house new process technology development, scale-up, and implementation in commercial granulation.
4. Providing technology support to commercial plants for shutdown, turnover, and recommissioning as needed.
5. Providing troubleshooting and root cause analysis support and driving problem resolution for commercial plants.

The technologist will also provide support in growth projects.

The Granulation Expert will be responsible for:

1. Providing troubleshooting and root cause analysis support for commercial plants.
2. Leading various new post-reactor product developments through granulation techniques.
3. Participating in in-house new process technology development, scale-up, and implementation in commercial plants.
4. Engaging and leading feasibility study and revamp studies for effective granulator operation at plant scale and semi-commercial scales.
5. Independently reviewing engineering documents and providing steering input.
6. Designing and supervising pilot plant experimental runs, including preliminary reviews, data interpretation, and final reporting.
7. Collecting and interpreting plant process data to make recommendations for improvements and ensuring standardized work processes are optimized.
8. Actively contributing to plant safety and quality programs.

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A Master's or PhD degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience or
2. A PhD with a minimum of 10 years of experience in technology development, plant support, modeling, and optimization.

Demonstrated strategic thinking and planning abilities.

Strong leadership skills to effectively collaborate and influence individuals from diverse disciplines and cultures.

Ability to create, foster, and drive a culture of innovation within the organization.
