As a Front Office Receptionist at AccorHotel, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless guest experience. Key duties include:
- Registering and processing check-ins for all arrivals
- Handling guest check-outs efficiently and professionally
- Updating guest information into the computer after a complete check-in
- Accountable for cashiering duties, foreign exchange transactions, night audits, tasks, and settlement upon guest departure
- Providing friendly and courteous service to guests and responding promptly to all requests and inquiries
- Resolving guest complaints and requests, and liaising with the department concerned to ensure immediate follow-up
- Handling issuance of guest room key cards and ensuring effective control for guest security
- Checking and conveying messages, mail, and packages to guests
- Assisting at the Information counter, Foreign Exchange, Night Audit, and Business Centre as and when assigned
- Having knowledge of the hotel rate codes, packages, segmentation, discounts, and how to handle each
- Handling safe deposit boxes in accordance with policies and procedures
- Reporting any unusual occurrences or requested to the manager
- Being aware of the hotel's accident prevention policies
- Ensuring the cleanliness and neatness of the front office area
- Ensuring that all guests are greeted on arrival and departure of the hotel
- Reviewing the logbook, verifying outstanding, and following up on pending tasks
- Identifying any special assignments for the day
- Checking hotel situations, occupancy, functions, groups, and VIPs
- Communicating all information to the next shift for a well-running operation
- Preparing for daily arrivals in terms of room allocations, amenities, and special requests of guests
- Maintaining continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any problems or complaints are handled efficiently and courteously
- Reviewing and updating the logbook
- Checking equipment
- Being smart, well-groomed, and maintaining a friendly and cheerful disposition at all times
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations
- Reporting regularly on happenings to the Asst. FO/FOM
- Familiarity with fire and first aid procedures
- Handling guest complaints and reporting to the manager
Qualifications:
University Degree in Hotel Management, minimum 1 year in a similar role at a star hotel
Remote Work: No
