About the Job- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of brownfield safety-critical projects on multiple offshore platforms in the UAE.
- They will oversee the delivery of these projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time and within budget.
- The role involves working closely with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a team of engineers and technicians to deliver piping engineering projects safely and efficiently.
- Coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Developing and implementing project plans, budgets and schedules to meet client requirements.
- Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing initiatives to improve efficiency.
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent communication and project management skills.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of piping engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
