Job Description:

An Optometrist is required to work in Sharjah, providing comprehensive eye care services to patients. This includes performing eye examinations, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, and prescribing glasses or contact lenses. The successful candidate will also recommend treatments such as vision therapy or medications.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams, including tests for refractive errors, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy.
  • Diagnose and treat ocular conditions, including conjunctivitis, cataracts, and retinal disease.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses or other devices as needed.
  • Provide patient education on proper eye care and hygiene practices.

Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Optometry or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • The ability to analyze complex information and make sound judgments is critical.
  • A strong commitment to patient-centered care is required.
