Job Summary

The I&C Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of equipment at Shou'alah. This position requires a systematic and analytical approach to troubleshooting, predictive maintenance, and design improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to Health, Safety & Environmental regulations and standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with O&M personnel, supervise field activities, and coordinate tasks.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately document time worked, equipment changes, and abnormal conditions.
  • Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and assess risks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Plan Review and Update: Review and update O&M plans to ensure effectiveness.
  • Inspections and Maintenance: Conduct daily routine inspections, plant walkdowns, and maintenance work requests as needed.
  • Spare Parts Management: Analyze and optimize spare parts management for predictive maintenance.
  • Technical Documentation: Manage and follow up on technical documentation of equipment.
  • Failure Analysis and Improvement: Work with execution teams for failure analysis and improvement proposals.
  • Supervision and Budgeting: Assist in supervising external technicians and preparing budgets for O&M activities.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor plant performance, procedures, and processes.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Diploma in Engineering or equivalent certifications, HSE accredited training qualifications.
  • Experience: 3-5 years' experience as Instrumentation, Control and Automation Engineer, and at least five (5) years' experience in the power generation field.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Electrical theory, N.E.C., ISA standards, HSE standards, repair and calibration of transmitters, analyzers, and scales, PLC and DCS understanding, calibration of valves and MOVs, environmental controls and equipment.
