NMC Healthcare LTD is a leading provider of healthcare services, and we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Transcriptionist to join our team.
About the Role
- This is a full-time position requiring a high level of attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- You will be responsible for transcribing recordings to type-written format using keyboard, computer, and audio control equipment.
- Your duties will include transcribing and interpreting dictation, identifying inconsistencies, errors, and missing information within reports, and following up with healthcare providers to ensure accuracy.
- You will also submit health records for physicians to approve, complete health records within turnaround time, and maintain utmost confidentiality.
- In addition, you will carry out technical analysis and evaluation of medical records, evaluate documentation for deficiencies, and operate designated word processing, dictation, and transcription equipment as directed.
- You will expand your job-related knowledge and skills to improve performance and adjust to change.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe and interpret dictation to provide accurate and complete patient records.
- Identify and correct inconsistencies, errors, and missing information within reports.
- Maintain confidentiality and submit health records for physician approval.
