Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Precision Hire Solution. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the transportation and shipment of components and materials for our airline fleet and third-party aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transportation Management: Work closely with our Engineering stores and Inventory control teams to arrange inbound and outbound shipments and deliveries within our UAE hubs and repair shops.
  2. Freight and Courier Services: Liaise with freight and courier services companies to arrange shipments, including heavy shipments and dangerous goods, and ensure timely delivery to required destinations.
  3. Logistics Service Provider Management: Seek proposals from shipping partners, such as DHL and FedEx, and manage their performance to ensure our requirements are consistently fulfilled.
  4. Logistics Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize our logistics management function.
  5. Inventory Management: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory management, including storage and retrieval of components, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  6. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all documentation related to inbound and outbound shipments.
  7. Team Management: Oversee a team of Logistics Assistants, provide guidance and training, and ensure they are motivated and contributing to continuous improvement in productivity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as commerce or logistics.
  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics and stores management in a technical industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills and fluent in English language.
  • A valid UAE driving license is desirable.
