Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our Joinery Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the completion and implementation of various projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, costs, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigation strategies.
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications to ensure project quality.
- Report to the Production Manager with accurate site measurements, as per production details and drawings, to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Submit Primavera reports of project progress to the General Manager and clients, providing a clear picture of project status.
- Coordinate with the team for shop drawing, material submittal, and variation to ensure seamless project execution.
- Prepare minutes of site meetings to maintain proper records for distribution to all parties concerned.
- Attend commencement meetings with clients to ensure preparation of project programs aligns with client schedules.
- Coordinate with the production team for submittal of material samples for approval, ensuring technical data sheets are submitted with SSA.
- Coordinate with clients' representatives for request of information and site concerns to facilitate smooth project flow, including submittal of Method Statements and Risk Assessment Statements.
- Coordinate with the Production Team and Estimation Department regarding site design updates and variations to incorporate them into production.
- Ensure all manpower is properly designated and placed to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Report to the Managing Director daily on all site situations and concerns for proper Technical and Commercial decisions.
- Submit MIR, IR if required.
- Ensure maintenance of Complete Health and Safety at all times for all workers and take corrective measures when necessary.
- Coordinate with site personnel for items required to be borrowed from the client for reference and documentation.
- Ensure proper coordination with other site trades.
- Ensure optimum use of material and labor.
- Document all snagging works and its de-snagging to meet the standards and design of the clients.
- Coordinate with Draftsmen for As-built drawing submission including the work certification and warranties.
- Communicate with clients/representatives for any additional work and variations.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a project engineer (Minimum 5-6 years).
- Experienced in Decor, Interior Design, Fit out, and Joinery.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
- Project Management and supervision skills.
- Decision-making ability and leadership skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED 4,000.00 - AED 5,000.00 per month
