Aircraft Maintenance EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our aircraft.
The role will involve:
- Ensuring the completion and on-time delivery of Line + Scheduled/Unscheduled Maintenance tasks including certification on the ATC aircraft, in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policy.
- Performing inspection, repair, and modification work based on current authorization and training level, including inspection/maintenance up to A checks of airframe and engine systems, and simple avionics tasks, and could include BSI, engine run-up, etc.
- Flying on board the aircraft for performing MX and certification at departure and arrival stations.
- Carrying out MX and certification at base and other stations.
- Communicating with MCC and CAMO to ensure they are fully informed of any developments.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of spare parts, expendables, and components, which shall always be accompanied by appropriate documentation to suit the eligibility requirements for the aircraft/component including the modification status and AD compliance status.
- Ensuring the completeness of all maintenance documents in the area of responsibility.
- Ensuring the equipment, tools, and premises in their charge are maintained to satisfactory standard and that discrepancies are reported to the appropriate departments, both within and external to the company.
- Delivering the highest level of health & safety and quality standards in industry.
- Improving the work environment, compliance with continuous improvement standards.
- Contributing to development and implementation of safety and security activities, programs, procedures.
- Familiarizing with the safety, security, and compliance publications in Centrik, LEON, emails or other suitable sources.
- FOLLOWING established procedures and not taking short cuts.
- Assisting safety and security investigations.
- Reporting safety hazards, security threats, errors, safety events, and any incidents by filling in safety report in Centrik software.
- Providing feedback to managers on the implementation of corrective, mitigation actions or other changes.
- Providing proposals for management system improvements.
- Participating in ERP exercises and deployments as per Company policies and procedures and in accordance with assigned duties as outlined in the AEROTRANSCARGO Emergency Response Plan.
- Supporting compliance audits, security inspections, and safety surveys.
